I have been looking into relocating to the southern Ohio,
Northern Kentucky area. Can any of the noters share with
me what types of prices I should expect to see for board,
grain, hay, shoes, etc?
Thanks,
Linda

Where in Southern Ohio? I'm in Dayton - about 50 miles north
of Cincinatti/kentucky.
Board around here is anywhere from about $40 per month for
pure pasture board to $60 for self care to $120 for full
care at a farm-type place. I charge $150 - but I've got an
indoor and other amenities. The top hunter barn charges $350.
Hay prices are about $2/bale, grain is $12-15/100#. A vet call
is $20 plus whatever you need done. Trims are about $15 and
shoeing runs between $35 and $80.
Anything else?
