I realize there is a moratorium on NH moorings, but does anyone have
a feeling for when it will be lifted and who then will be eligible
??
I also heard those with moorings prior to the moratorium will have
to re_apply for a new one. Any one have an idea about who will
be able to get one ,like what mare the prerequisites ??

The moratorium on new moorings in the major lakes will be lifted when the new mooring rules go into effect - but then you will need a permit for a new mooring. The new rules have been through several drafts and are scheduled for a public hearing on January 11, 1988 at 9AM at the Department of Safety (Hayes Building), Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03305. If you want a copy of the proposed rules, I suggest you write the Department of Safety. - Bob | |||||
