Hi,
As we are talking with more refinery people, we are finding their
affinity towards a DCS be it from Honeywell, Yakagawa or Bailey.
Positioning B* Open in such places as a framework backbone requires the
connectivity of B* Open with such devices. This topic does not clearly
mention whether TDC3000 is connectable to B* Open (AXP/VMS or DUNIX) or
not.
But it is understood something extra is required in the DCS domain to
connect to the system (I mean B* server). I would prefer to have a list
of DCS currently supported by B* Open with platform details and what
all is required in the DCS domain. I find such list exists for PLC's
but nothing available on DCS domain. Also a fair amount of idea about
the DAS'es for different DCS which are in the pipeline will help me to
talk to the customer in this front.
Please contact me for further clarification
rgds,
Poolak
