We are trying to sell workstation(s) to an IBM customer. Last week, we ran
his benchmark on an AlphaStation 500/500, and it gave excellent results.
Now we got a second benchmark. However, all our workstations are gone to the
local DECUS event. Can anybody compile the attached code, run it on
an AlphaStation 500/500, and send me the results (to glass@iso.dec.com)
or post them here?
Compile & test should take less than a minute or two.
The source file is attached.
Here is what I used to compile:

BTW, while doesn't matter to the code in .0, the 500/500 has an
EV56 chip in it. You probably want to use "-arch ev56 -tune ev56"
instead of "-tune ev5" for other benchmarks to take advantage of
any byte/word operations.
