Set SYSGEN parameter WINDOW_SYSTEM to 1 in SYS$SYSTEM:MODPARAMS.DAT,
re-AUTOGEN, and reboot. Also consider acquiring and applying the
current DECwindows Motif patches from DIGITAL's Internet patch area.
The PBXGB-AA PowerStorm 3D30 TGA2 controller also requires a driver
first shipped with OpenVMS in V7.1 -- for the V6.2-1H3 release, one
must acquire and install the Open3D kit. (No Open3D license PAK is
required for 2D operations -- make sure you install the correct
version of Open3D for the controller and for the OpenVMS version.)
