    On DECmcc/ULTRIX I need to have information on the mechanism used for
    the real-time events or alarms.
    
    On VMS the AST are used, what's used on ULTRIX?

	The event data is placed into a shared memory pool (same as in VMS), and then ipc semaphores are used to post the event getter.
