I'm running the MCC EFT update on Ultrix. WHen I issue a command
and then a cancel, sometimes, but not always I get the following
error. This is not reproducable at will. The command was fine
before the cancel, and most likely will be fine when I restart
the Acess Module. Does anyone have insight on this?
thanks,
Bonnie
There are 2 sessions, running in debug mode:
MCC window:
MCC> show tpfacility bbl
Using default ALL IDENTIFIERS
%MCC-E-LMF_FAILED, license check failed
dbx executable window:
Internal MCC_LMF failure : Invalid component ID.

| 3281.1 | Sounds like the cancel is broken | TOOK::MINTZ | Erik Mintz, dtn 226-5033 | Mon Jul 06 1992 23:54 | 13 |
> Internal MCC_LMF failure : Invalid component ID. This only happens if the MCC internal license check routine is called with an invalid component ID (as the message indicates). Typically, the license check routine is only called during the module initialization. Which module was being called when you issued the cancel? This sounds like a likely corruption, dispatching randomly into the license check routine. -- Erik | |||||

The module being called was an Access Module which we
have written.
Do you know how we could debug this?
thanks,
Bonnie
