	Hi,

	I am backed against the 2wk gold tree. I have performed dozens 
	of build BINARY.ext_ yesterday and today nothing works anymore :

	% build BINARY.ext_
	relative path: ./kernel.
	make: illegal option -- c
	usage: make [-eiknqrst] [-D variable] [-d flags] [-f makefile ]
        [-I directory] [-j max_jobs] [variable=value]
	%
	% which build
	/usr/sde/tools/alpha_ace/bin/build
	%
	
	I shutdown my system and odemount -all to make sure that all the 
	touchy ode ingredients were in there to make it work but without
	success.
