<darn! missed 2001 the Amiga note>
Merry Christmas!
A Great, addictive game TETRIX from me and the Usenet. I think
the origin of this game is from Russia (I may be mistaken). I think
this game is "The Rubick's cube of the 80's".
The file is in ROMULN""::dub3:[public.amiga]tetrix.zoo
and Happy New Years!
_Michael_ (who still has Christmas card to send)

| 2002.1 | Maybe it was Tetris? | DNEAST::SEELEY_BOB | Thu Dec 15 1988 11:12 | 4 | |
I think that the game you are thinking of has similar spelling (Tetris
or some such spelling), but isn't this one. It does seem to have
definite puzzle-like quality to it, although. How many puzzle pieces
have you been able to drop into place before filling it up?

I don't quite remember how many pieces, but my high score now is
> 3000 on level 1. I think I've even seen a game like this for sale
at Memory Location. The game play looks the same, but bigger display
and nicer background (although not HAM). I think that this game
would be great with a HAM background, some sonix music, and shiny
blocks (aka arkanoid)!!! I'll buy it.
