Has anyone had trouble with King of Chicago starting up ? I just
purchased it this weekend at the Marlboro Computer show and well
it doesn't startup.... " I get a message "King of Chicago loading"
and then the disk spins for a while....and then nothing....
I looked into the s/startup-sequence and it had a starting pc with
a question mark after it...this seemed wierd to me......
The game states it needs kickstart 1.2......I'm pretty sure I have
1.3....could this be the problem ? .......
all of my other games ( 25 or so.... ) all startup with the
exception of One-on-one which stop booting when I added a disk
and a A501 compatible mem card.....does anyone run one-on-one
with 1 meg ?
so having only 2 out of my games not working is ok, but I'd like to
get them working....
thanks for any info,
matto

Can't help you much but I can say that my A500 with an A501,
1.2 ROMS, and two external floppies loads King of Chicago without
problems. I found the game slow and boring. I would try it on
another machine or take out the A501 look alike.
