I still don't see anything newer on IBG, and if possible I'd like to
get a current 16-bit Personal Edition kit to support a (Digital
internal) customer who needs it for a PC with only enough horespower to
run Win 3.
Do we have such a thing available?

| The 3.01 version of Netscape Navigator was released at the beginning
of November 1996. Is there a problem with it?

| 3908.9 | It's a specific flavor of Navigator | TLE::LUCE | Charlie Luce, Digital Unix QCS | Tue Jan 28 1997 14:36 | 5 |
| I'm talking about the Personal Edition, the one with Dial-Up TCP/IP
support included in the package. I know that the product has not been
discontinued by Netscape, but I suppose it may have been dropped from
the agreement between Netscape and Digital.

| 3908.10 | update just the navigator | GYRO::CAETANO | Greg Caetano ZKO2-2M17 381-1338 | Wed Jan 29 1997 09:14 | 9 |
| With personal edition, you donot have to do a full product update
to get the latest release. Most likely only the navigator is going
to expire, so download the latest 16bit navigator and install it
into the same directory.
Just remember to save your bookmarks to a separate location if
you wish to retain them.

| 3908.11 | It worked for me | BEGIN::ROTITHOR | | Mon Feb 03 1997 11:24 | 7 |
| I was using netscape personal edition 2.xx with windows 3.1.
I could make the same dialer etc work with a newer 3.01 gold version.
I created a separate directory, installed nestacpe 3.01 and copied dialer etc
into the new dir. Seems to work OK.
When will the PC netscape version allow the user to store documents in
postscript form as the Unix version allows? any idea?
