I use www-proxy.reo.dec.com and downloaded a zip file last week, the zip file was updated, but I kept downloading the old file. By moving proxy server I got the new zip file. Is this expected behaviour? If not should I log a call with CCS? Cheers, Greg

Could have been a cache problem ... if the old version was in Net-
scape's cache, it probably just kept returning the same file over
and over.
Hitting "Reload" might have solved it.
Regardless, check
c:\program files\netscape\navigator\cache
and delete all of the files occasionally, if it's not done auto-
matically.
If you already knew this and already tried it, just ignore me
like everyone else does. 8^)

I've heard the shift-Reload will force the proxy server to get a new copy.

re: .24
If it was a recent update that failed to load, it could be a
clock/timezone problem on your client or on the proxy server. Check
that your client has the proper timezone and time set.
