Hi,

Recently I have been unable to reach the username prompt when I dial into slip.
I get as far as "CONNECT 9600/REL".  At that point, I'm supposed to hit return
until I get the username prompt.  It doesn't come.

All had been working until about a month or so ago.  Since then I've tried
several times to get in, but always the same thing.

I have a DIGITAL Starion 300, 486DX2/66 running 6.something (6.22 I think) and
Windows 3.11.  I'm using trumpet (TWSK21EI.ZIP) to make the connection.

I thought I might have accidently changed one of the options settings in
trumpet, so I reinstalled the kit and followed the same instructions that I used
the first time, but still nothing.

	Where are you dialling into? Perhaps you should call your (local) helpdesk - maybe those modems no longer support SLIP!
