4437.0. "Netscape Navigator's DDE interface??" by BHAJEE::JAERVINEN (Ora, the Old Rural Amateur) Fri Jan 31 1997 12:47
When trying to get the window (WWW_GetWindowInfo) info via Netscape
Navigator's DDE interface it sends the whole window title, i.e.
something like
Netscape - [Alta Vista Search: Main Page]
Is there any way I can make it just send the actual title? (Microsoft
IE does this - the title bar looks something like
Alta Vista Search: Main Page - Microsoft Internet Explorer
but the DDE call only returns "Alta Vista Search: Main Page"
One of the reasons I'm asking is that the PIM I use (ECCO Pro 4.0) can
grab URL's directly from both - but from the Navigator, I always get
this Netscape crud which makes my bookmark collections look ugly unless
I manually edit them.
