You go to the external AltaVista Software site
http://altavista.software.digital.com/ and navigate to the
download page to Forum. This will be a time-limited kit. I
believe that if you join the AltaVista Partners program you
can get non-time-limited kits (but I haven't tried this).

| See .1. Unlimited kits are not available internally. You need to order
them from SSB. The IBG Software Distribution Server is now at URL:
http://ibgzko.zko.dec.com/sdk/
but you won't find unlimited kits there, just evaluation versions.

How do I order the Forum kit from SSB for internal, production use?
What is it's part number? Is there a list of Altavista software p/n's
somewhere?
Thanks,
Greg.

| A good starting place for AltaVista prices and part numbers is the AltaVista
web site at http://altavista.software.digital.com. Select the 'The Store'
line and when it expands, push 'Prices'. That gives you prices and part
numbers. Then go to http://cassidy.mro.dec.com/ieg/ to place your order.

| Thanks for the pointer in -.1. I found it pretty tough to find the
AltaVista part numbers in the "usual places" (e.g.
www.digital.com/info/SPD).
