A partner mailed in looking for the following: Question: We're having trouble finding an AlphaNT webserver that's CGI-compliant (again, for porting demo apps). Microsoft IIS is not CGI-compliant. Netscape Alpha server won't install without Alpha Navigator Gold browser, which is not available yet for Netscape 3, and Netscape has taken down the v2 posting on their website. Netscape tech support was not very forthcoming. Any recommendations? Does he have his Netscape facts straight? And is Netscape the only CGI-compliant webserver? Thanks. All Webservers support CGI. In what way does he think that they are not compliant? I am running an application on NT/Alpha 4.0 with IIS 3.0 which uses CGI. I also know that both Netscape and Purveyor support CGI on NT/Alpha. Where is he getting his information from? Danny | |||||

I second MS-IIS you can't get much more CGI compliant if you tried.
What with basic CGi, IDC & ASP it's got the lot.
What *exactly* are you trying to do?
