4674.0. "Livewire and Alpha/NT" by GRANPA::JZITELMAN () Thu May 15 1997 16:49
A customer purchased an Alpha/NT server as a web
server. They were then enticed by NetScape Livewire
and developed content using it. The content was
developed on an Intel/NT system.
When they move the Livewire content to the Alpha/NT
server and access it, the Alpha goes 100% CPU
bound and stays that way until a hard reboot.
Is Livewire content supposed to be portable?
Netscape's site says Livewire is not available on
Alpha/NT. Is the problem that Livewire is not
avail on Alpha/NT or is it a Netscape bug?
Also would appreciate your advice as to who in
Digital I should bring this to to make them aware
of this netscape issue.
Thanks,
Jeff
