Hi,
A customer is beta testing AltaVista Intranet Search Server. I
modified the logo.html to match the logo of their intranet home
page but now they want to change the AltaVista logo out for theirs.
Is this possible? I couldn't find the .html that composes the search
page. Is it built dynamically by the program? What are other sites
doing it regards to modifying the Intranet Search Server homepage
(changing the AltaVista logo or not)??
Thanks.

Hi Lynne,
if, as you say, your customer has a Beta copy of AltaVista Search 97
then you have the opportunity to dramatically change the GUI via the new
macro language (AVSHE). Removing or replacing the AltaVista navigational
logos
is just one of many possibilities.
Cheers
Andrew

Andrew -
Thanks for responding. How would I know this and how would I begin
to understand AVSHE? It is there some documentation on it or is the
documentation included in the beta??
Lynne
